Photojournalism
Photojournalism is how I initially got my foot in the door by contributing to a school publication. I volunteered to take photos of many cross-country meets saving the sport's yearbook spread in my freshmen year. That was the first time I picked up a DSLR camera and since I've spent a ton of time behind the lens. I even ended up buying my own DSLR camera in the fall of 2020 to experiment with photography on my own.
Since then I've photographed a variety of events for both The Orator Newspaper and Crusader Yearbook.
